How can I establish an Estonian company if I do not have an e-residency?

You can establish a company in Estonia even without being an e-resident. While e-residency offers a fully digital process, non-residents can still incorporate a company through more traditional methods.

One method is to travel to Estonia and visit Estonian notary public in person. If you cannot visit Estonia, you can issue a power of attorney to a local representative who specializes in registering companies for foreigners.

The power of attorney given to the representative must be notarized and, depending on your country of residence, certified with an apostille or legalized. The representative himself will prepare a sample power of attorney for you, so you will only need to visit the local notary public with this and give a signature.

In order to simplify the management of your company, you can apply for an Estonian e-Residency later.
