Can I amend the Estonian company’s annual report after it’s submitted to the Business Register

After the annual report is submitted, it is no longer possible to make changes to it. However, you can always prepare and submit a new (adjusted) annual report for the same period.

After submitting the new annual report, the previous (expired) report will stay in the list of the company’s annual reports. See the sample below.

The main reasons why the new annual report is submitted are as follows:

  1. The only way to change a company's publicly visible activities is through its annual report. If you want a specific activity to be seen publicly with your company registry data, you can do it by defining it in your annual report.

  2. Some data in the annual report is incorrect, and it needs to be corrected.

  3. The registrar requires you to make some corrections in the annual report. Usually related to insufficient owner’s equity.
